St. Paul’s Trail (10 days)

This continuous trek starts from the ruins of Perge (east of Antalya) and follows parts of the eastern branch of the St Paul Trail towards Antioch in Pisidia (Yalvaç), deep in the Taurus mountains. The trek allows you to immerse yourself in the way of life of the inhabitants of the old stone and timber villages along the route; you will see the local handcrafts, watch cheese and yoghurt making and enjoy the tasty village foods in the village houses where you stay.
We will visit the major Greek/Roman city of Perge and ascent to ancient Adada on foot following a roman road. During the walks we will have many opportunities to look at bulbs and birds and marvel at the magnificent mountain ranges and wide panoramas of the region. Our trail follows beautiful sections of Roman roads and migration routes in use since Roman times (and perhaps even walked by st Paul himself) in this spectacular area of forests, canyons, rivers and peaks.
