Explore Lycia on foot

This glimpse of the best of the Lycian Way starts at the ghost village of Kayaköy and continues high above the tiny beaches of the western coast. You trek to the ancient capital and port of Patara, where your exploration of the ruins can be combined with swimming from a 12km sandy beach. A venture to the goat paths of the interior is rewarded with views of the coast and islands from the tiny fort at Phellos. A steep descent takes you to the Turkish baths and lively nightlife at Kaş.

Along the Turquoise Coast to the Lighthouse

A self-guided hike on the Lycian Way. Walk to the sea at ancient Phaselis, a major archaeological site. Then south under Mt. Olympos (Tahtali) along the coast via Cirali (the city of Olympos and the Chimaera) and Adrasan to the iconic Gelidonya lighthouse.

Our route covers most of the best walks of the Eastern and southern sections, starting in Ovacik and finishing near Gelidonia Light House.
