Route Updates

The GPS data of the route has been updated. Please contact us.

A new edition of the book was issued in June 2012. The old book is now out of date as all the routes have been reorganised. Also a section with 8 short daywals in the Hevek Valley has been added to the book. A volunteer group waymarked these short routes in June 2012. they have not been signposted but they are shown in the map in the book. Please let us know of any problems.

There are a number of old surfaced footpaths in the Kaçkar which are under threat from the ‘Yeşil Yol’ construction of new roads linking the yaylas. If you live in the area or can spend some time around the area (especially the north side) and can report back on these footpaths, please contact us.
