Via Eurasia Mobile Application

The new Via Eurasia application is now available in PlayStore (Android) and Appstore (IOS) with brand new features and user-friendly design. The St Paul Trail, Phrygian Way, Evliya Celebi Way, Mysia Ways, Tolerance Way, Sultans Trail and Via Egnatia routes, which form the Via Eurasia network, are included in the App with Turkish, English and Greek language options.

Using this application you can walk from the Adriatic Sea to Istanbul and south through Turkey to the Mediterranean.

Features of the App:

– With 15x zoom level, you can see all the details of the surrounding terrain;

– Don’t lose your direction! While you’re using the app, the GPS cursor follows you wherever you go;

– The app works offline; once you downloaded a section of the route, you will not need to use Wifi;

– Using normal GPS tracking, the app tracks your location to within 4-10 metres; you may optionally use high-accuracy tracking in forest or canyons;

– Plan your hike in advance! You now have access to a summary map, short description and an elevation profile for each day’s walk;

– Route overview maps for planning your hike, plus detailed maps with contours, hill-shading, altitude and forest paths;

– Comprehensive points of interest! Filter them according to your needs or sort them by proximity! Every point’s image and description will show you what to look out for;

– Pick your accommodation from the points of interest list and phone ahead to book your room. (available for only Turkish sections);

– Our ‘’check before you go’’ feature gives last-minute information on the weather, guide books, maps and last-minute route changes or warnings.
