Via Egnatia Transport
The Turkish part of the Via Egnatia hiking trail is still being developed. The western part of the Via Egnatia hiking trail is ready to walk – in Albania and Macedonia hikers can walk a part of the route (opened in 2011; guidebook is available via www.viaegnatiafoundation.eu)
The route of the Via Egnatia can also be followed by car or bus from Ipsala along the main road via Tekirdag to Istanbul.
