Open/Close Menu Kültür Rotaları Derneği

At their annual meeting in April, the Governing Board of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes have announced that they have adopted five new routes, bringing the total number up to 45 certified routes. The new routes are: the Aeneas Route, the Alvar Aalto Route of 20th Century Architecture and Design, Cyril and Methodius Route, the European Route d’Artagnan and the Iron-Age Danube Route. The Aeneas Route is the first certified route to represent Turkey and we congratulate them wholeheartedly.
Regrettably, the Via Eurasia was not certified as a Cultural Route – the committee found weaknesses in the theme, organisation and stability of the route. These are all subjects which we can correct in due course.
We certainly plan to re-submit an application to the Governing Board in due course. To all those who have supported our international route through the past years, thank you. To all the municipalities, walking clubs and of course all our partners, tank you for your support and stay with us!!!!
